Where did you work before you joined the team, and what attracted you to the financial services industry in the first place?

I have a knack for numbers and having completed studies in accounting and finance, I always wanted to work in the financial services industry. I was introduced to the superannuation industry when I joined Colonial First State and instantly became passionate about it. I believe in the ultimate purpose of the super industry to provide the best retirement outcomes for super fund members. Having worked with financial planning firms like ipac and Newell Palmer Securities, my varied roles within the industry have given me a holistic understanding and allowed me to experience the industry from many perspectives.

How do you like to spend your time outside work?

I enjoy going to the beach, exploring different restaurants (currently hooked on Japanese food), reading business news and definitely travelling. I have travelled to a fair bit of India and Australia and can’t wait to explore more places, Japan is first on the list of countries to visit.
