Zenith Investment Partners has appointed James Curnow to the position of Business Development Manager, responsible for growing the investment consultancy’s managed accounts footprint in NSW and the ACT.
Based in Sydney, James will report to Head of Sales, John Nicoll, who said the appointment reflects strong demand from existing and prospective adviser clients in these areas.
“In the last year, Zenith has seen a notable increase in an adviser’s investable universe, and a dramatic increase in the use of managed account structures to access these options. James’ appointment reflects our strong commitment to expanding our services to a growing client base in NSW and the ACT.
In announcing the appointment, John Nicoll cited James’ strong understanding of advisers’ portfolio construction and managed account requirements, and the tools they’re using to deliver optimal investment outcomes for clients.
James was most recently a Business Development Manager for BlackRock where he was responsible for the growth of its managed account services to the NSW advice market.
He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney, a Diploma of Financial Planning from the Monarch Institute and is also RG146-qualified through Kaplan Australia.
